Brannigan's is a small bar big on character and even bigger on entertainment. Resident DJ Lee Jackson is one of the longest serving DJs in Tenerife and keeps people coming back night after night.
The bar is pretty small, is long and narrow and can get a little claustrophobic on excessively busy nights but you can easily escape to the outside where there is a stepped area that people adopt as an outside seating area. For other places to sit then theres a limited amount of seating at the back of the bar towards the toilets.
The bar is open fronted but does have air conditioning on the inside to keep you cool while you party hard. If dancing is your thing then there's a small podium to strut your stuff on or poles for anyone feeling a little more daring!
One of the things people remember about Brannigan's is the drinking games. Throughout the night the DJ will do numerous games and challenges which are funny to take part in and even funnier to watch. If that doesn't interest you then there's the string of TV's above the bar showing all your 'Jackass' type programs constantly throughout the evening.
If thats not enough then this is one of the few bars where you're likely to get a good amount of Indie music. Loads of people ask us on the message boards about somewhere that plays Rock and Indie... well this is your place! You'll also get a great mix of the latest chart tunes, some old skool R'n'B as well as retro party hits.
The staff are professional and efficient yet are always smiling and getting a drink is never more than a couple of minutes wait. Prices are reasonable for this area and theres always free drink up for grabs in the drinking games in the form of pints of Dorada or sex on the beach.
To Conclude: Small and compact with one of the best personality DJs on the island. Don't be put off by the small size... as the saying goes 'Great things come in small packages'

Spent everynite in Brannigans - did not need to go elsewhere! Staff where very friendly and made you feel welcome, they are sooooo friendly. There is one drink my mate and me where introduced to - it's called "Purple Rain" but after a few of these we where asking for "Purple Haze" (which is a better description!) totally recommend it :-)!!! There are drinking games and quizzes for shots which all adds to the fun. DJ Lee is a lovely fella - he is funny at telling jokes (listen out it may be about YOU!). Looking forward to going back very soon - Tenerife Part 2 The Return!!!!!
brannigans was fantastic in tenerife they did lots of drinkin games an everytime you walked in they said a big hello on the mic,, an the staff are so friendly and up 4 a laugh would defintly go back der agen see you soonies clare xxxxx
Just back from tenerife on 26th jan 2010 found brannigans bar from one of the prs outside thought we would give it a try. Staff were all very friendly drinks not too dear,place very clean and music was really good started liking other music while in the bar. DJ Lee Jackson was a real good laugh always made us feel very welcome and played songs that we requested. If in Tenerife staying anyware near this bar give it a try i am sure you will have a good time and the drinking games and lee dressing up is so funny. Highly recomended. PS the PRS that work there are also all very nice.

This bar was resplendently farical, i enjoyed the jocular atmosphere concerning the bar staff and the 'punters'. My only gripe was the music was a little loud and heavy for my liking. However, its saving grace will have to be its fabulous decor.
Totally rocking!! Good banter on the go from the DJ. One of them even remembered the group as Machester boys and Glasgow Girls dont match hahaha makes the world go BONKERS!!!!
Just came back from Tenerife and cant wait to go back and visit this bar again. Bar staff friendly and professionals. DJ supper fantastic, great sense of humor. Visited most of nights this lovely bar. If you go Tenerife, you must visit this place!!!!

went out in november with my friends for my birthday and loved it,staff really friendly,dj lee very funny,music very good mixture catered for all ages,atmosphere brilliant,had brilliant time but really miss our nights out in brannigans,will definatly go back again
Went to Brannigans the first nite of our holiday and returned every nite afterwards! Had an absolute blast, DJ Lee made every nite superb with wicked tunes and even more wicked games.
Drinking games made sure we were never walking back to the hotel in a straight line; all the staff were great - thanks to you all.
Will deffo be returning next year, so watch out Lee!
Last week this venue was our regular. We got a warm welcome from the staff who after a while begun to recognise our faces. The music is very similar to what was played across that strip of Tenerife, but what made it good was the commentary that came with it. Both DJ's (sorry I only remember one name - Jake or Jack or something like that) were well nice, warm, welcoming, friendly and played all requests we wanted. we even brought the CD.
Overall I would definately say go and visit this place, it's amazing what some people do on the poles, what you'll see on the tv screen, and what banter you will engage in throughout the night. We will definately miss it and are suffering withdrawal symptons.
