One of the main attractions during the day for young and the young at heart is Aqualand. A free shuttle bus runs from Veronicas to the park but this is very in-frequent. It will cost no more than 6 Euros to get there in a taxi from the center of Playa De Las Americas so for ease and cost this is probably the best way to get here for ease and comfort. On the return journy, there is a taxi rank just outside the entrance.
Be aware that this park is a salt water park so if you was expecting fresh water on all of the slides, you'll get a shock! There was no warnings about this so our first experience on the slides was an unpleasant one. Although this place is extremely fun, I was disappointed by its level of maintenance and poor design. The flooring is very rough and soon makes your feet sore, as will the heat on the black concrete bricks so make sure you take your flip flops! On the positive side, there is a good array of water slides and pools, and this water park hosts an absolutely brilliant dolphin show which is worth the entrance fee alone! Entrance is around €14 for adults which includes the free entrance to the dolphin show.
The dolphin show is ran around 4 times daily so you can be sure to catch the show at some point during your visit there. The show takes place in an outdoor auditorium with stepped seating giving everyone an excellent view.
The park is open all year round from 10am until 6pm with late entrance discounts for people wanting to go only in the afternoon.
Despite the the poor design this is still worth a visit and is a fun day out. Prepare well by taking plenty of sun cream and your flip-flops to make the best of the day.

WE WERE REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO ARE DAY AT THE WATER PARK, WE GOT ON THE FREE SHUTTLE BUS WHICH I HAVE TO SAY WAS A BIT SCARY AS THEY DRIVE QUITE ERATIC THOUGH THERE STREETS SOMETHING WE WERE NOT USED TO. WHEN WE ARRIVED WE HAD A BREAKFAST OVER THE ROAD AND BROUGHT R TICKETS CAUSE THEY WERE CHEAPER THAN PAYING ON THE GATE AND MEANT WE DIDNT HAVE TO QUE AS WE HAD 'PREBOOKED THEM'. WHEN WE GOT INSIDE THERE WERE NOT RUBBER RINGS WHICH THEY FAILED TO TELL YOU YOU NEEDED ON EVERY RIDE. SO YOU CAN IMAGINE HAVING 9 CHILDREN WAITING AROUND FOR SOMEONE TO LEAVE SO THEY CAN HAVE A GO ON THE RIDES AND BEARING IN MIND WHEN YOU HAVE PAID QUITE A LOT OF MONEY TO GET IN YOU WONT BE LEAVING TO EARLY SO ARE CHILDREN NEVER HAD A CHANCE. WENT TO THE DOLPHIN SHOW WHICH WAS WORTH THE MONEY I I HADNT O DONE THAT I WOULD OF BEEN VERY UPSET TO THINK ID LOST ABOUT 50 EUROS.
Brilliant day out, Dolphin show here is absolutly amazing.. best i have ever seen! The water slides are average, some very fun but not a lot of choice.. the rapids is lovely however not so 'rapidy'! The salt water on all the slides comes as quite a shock when you plummet into it with your mouth wide open however you do get used to it after a while!! Overall, fun day out!
Not the biggest or best waterpark I've ever been to, but good stuff for the kids. The problem I found was it is salt water. The money you pay in here is worth it just for the dolphin show it was amazing far better than the one in the jungle park. Overall if you like waterparks its a good laugh but not one if you love your big slides
