Great for the young and lively
This is the primary hotel for all young and lively tour operators in the summer months making this a apartment complex with attitude. Outside these months it does quieten down somewhat but is by no means the perfect place to relax.
As with everything, its a matter of taste and if your a young person looking for a lively hotel then this is the best place for you.
The complex is large with a selection of rooms from a studio to a 2 bedroom apartment. Some have recently been refurbished as of 2006 and are much better for it. Rooms can be hit and miss but the beds are reasonable and the apartments are clean. Noise can be a problem as the whole place is marble and brick causing any sound to reverberate around the corridors which can be a little annoying if your trying to sleep.
The pool is a large figure of eight shape which is split into 2. This can get a little dirty at times as it is heavily used by the party crowd. Getting a sun bed is a real problem unless you are up early but there are usually seats around the pool bar area if this will be sufficient.
Hotel does have a greasy spoon caf? on site which serves good fry ups and the pool bar serves simple burgers and fries as well as toasties and a selection of drinks.
The laundrette is token operated and unmanned although reasonably priced.
There is an on site supermarket which is more expensive than the others in the local area but provides everything from toiletries to beer to sliced Spanish meats. A real life saver if you want some provisions in your room and you don't want to leave the hotel.
The location is perfect for anyone wanting the nightlife and central location. Located down a small side street, you are only a 1 minute walk from the nearest bar. Veronicas and the Starco centre are no more than a 5 minute walk while the popular Leonardo's is a 2 minute walk down the alley almost directly opposite the hotel. Be warned that this is called muggers alley and should not be attempted after dark!
Overall, not a bad place to stay if your after a lively holiday and/or are on a budget.

this hotel is in centre of las americas good location and great if you like to be in the party zone. personally i need my sleep and was a bit too noisy for me so i probably wouldnt stay there again but great for young groups as there is always something going on
