Harleys American Diner is like a TGI Fridays but in the sun and really does give it a run for its money.
Harleys certainly isn't a gourmet dining experience and it makes no apologies for being so. It offers big brash portions of well cooked, American style food in great surroundings and at competitive prices.
The first thing that strikes you about Harleys is the decor. From the Cadillac car sitting outside to the masses of American memorabilia plastered across the walls it oozes American at every opportunity.
There's a central bar area where you can sit and try one of the extensive list of cocktails made right in front of your eyes and you don't have to be eating to be able to be allowed entrance. The menu offers everything you would expect from an American diner. You'll be sure to find chicken, ribs, steaks and burgers along with a reasonable selection of vegetarian fare. The quality of the food is good although you'll be pushed to find a healthy meal should you want it. Service is quick, precise and friendly and there?s so many waiting staff you won't have to wait long to be asked for a top up on your drink!
It's always worth making a reservation as Harleys can get extremely busy all year round and you can frequently see people queuing to get in during peak season. Getting to Harleys couldn?t be easier. It?s on a main road and all Taxi drivers will know where it is. If you fancy the walk then it?s very easy to get to by a short stroll along the beach.
To Conclude: Overall a very fun and enjoyable dining experience. Well worth a visit with or without kids.

A very clean, typical American restaurant. Very large portions with large drinks. Nice bar, but in tenerife there are some very nice restaurants to try, e.g. i recommend El molino blanco, mama rosa and bianco, they are the best i have found.
Went here summer 2005. Menu was excellent, no nonsense American food much like Hard Rock Cafe (including American memorabilia on the walls and a model railway running round the ceiling). Service was pleasant and prompt (all waitresses seemed to be English, dont know if this is normal), the food came in reasonable time and was extremely good quality. The cocktail menu was good, the restaurant was busy when we were there but service was still good.
we went down to this resturant as alot of people had talked about how good it was. now maybe we came on a bad day i dont know but our food was burnt and didnt taste nice either. it also took ages to get served and the place was empty. the drinks selection is good so if you like cocktails i would head here but i wont be trying the food again
